AAO 2015
The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) hosts an annual meeting, bringing ophthalmologists and staff members together for a few days of intensive of training. For the 2015 conference, two of my office staff and I attended the conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There is a series of panel discussions and lectures about the various methods to giving patients the best possible vision care. I attended AAO courses on the newest cataract techniques, equipment updates and I had the opportunity to reunite with other ophthalmologists from around the world. We immersed ourselves in engaging and thought-provoking presentations by accredited ophthalmologists and professionals in the field. The latest research has inspired us to bring back techniques that will provide the utmost vision care to our patients.
I’ve shared photos from the trip, to view the photos, scroll below; the pictures featured in the blog show me and my staff learning and networking all while enjoying ourselves in Vegas! To learn more about the AAO annual meeting, click here.

- On the way to ‪#‎AAO2015‬ in Vegas!
- I took course on comprehensive cataract coding, it was a very interesting and informative course!
- The best professional advice I have received was from doctor Mark Rolain, M.D. who taught me cataract surgery during my residency. He said ‘Treat your patients as you would treat your family. Doing the right thing is not always the easiest thing. It may mean staying late and working harder but it will make you the best doctor you can be.’
- Enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery Vegas has to offer!
